TraversEd Treasurer Peter Hawkins is the co-owner of MELLOHAWK Logistics Inc. (an award-winning freight forwarder) and the MELLOHAWK Logistics International Training Center. He has been named the Mississauga Board of Trade Business Person of the Year, the CGLCC Exporter of the Year and has been awarded the Access Employment Walk of Fame for over a decade of mentoring newcomers, new grads, women entrepreneurs and people re-entering the workforce. He is Co-chair of the Brazil Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC), and Chair of the Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) for the International Business Program for Sheridan College.

Bruce Rodgers has been an active participant on the Board of Directors for CIFFA since 2009, and became Executive Director in October 2018. Bruce has several years of senior executive experience with several large transportation organizations. Bruce also believes in giving back to the communities he’s involved in, and for much of his career has served on the Board of Directors of various industry associations including the Toronto Transportation Club and Canadian Courier & Logistics Association.

Stephen McDermott brings over 20 years of experience in learning and development and is a certified training and development practitioner from the institute for performance and learning. Currently, Stephen is the Director of Education and Marketing at CIFFA, and the Chair of the FIATA Logistics institute focusing on the global training of logistics professionals. Stephen is an IATA/FIATA/ICAO certified instructor and has been designing and delivering the CIFFA Air Dangerous Goods courses for the past eight years.
In her role as Director, Business Development, Nasy is responsible for growing and expanding TraversEd’s course offerings nationally and internationally. Her years of experience include being trained as a teacher, and in International Business Development with a strong focus on global logistics and supply chain. Before joining TraversEd as Director, Business Development, Nasy was an executive VP for a fast-growing freight forwarding company.
