Shipping lithium batteries by air is extremely common, yet it is a complicated process guided by ever changing regulations.
This course might be used in addition to any of the Air DG courses, and as part of an employer’s competency-based training program if shipping lithium batteries in section 1.
The course might also be used by an employer to adequately train an employee to ship section 2 lithium batteries as described in the IATA DGR section 1.6.
