Description
Transporting dangerous goods by sea is a unique situation, due to the large quantities that are involved, the lengthy travel times, and other transportation factors (heat, humidity, exposure to water, severe movement, etc.).
The International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) Dangerous Goods Code specifies the requirements that must be followed. A copy of the IMDG code is required to complete this training and is not provided.
Where national law permits, the comprehensive lessons within this course may be used to certify you to ship dangerous goods by sea, or as part of your organization’s competency-based training program if required by law.
